Foreign Earned Income for 2012 and currently employed in US

I earned all my previous year's income as Foreign Earned Income and filed as such and met the 125% of poverty line with the last year's income. This year all my income has been coming from my job in US but has not surpassed the threshold yet but will be able to by year end with my current pay.

Is this enough to qualify me to sponsor my wife by myself?

Current yearly income is not based off of what you have made, but what you should make for the year. So if your yearly income for this year is above the 125% of the poverty guidelines as defined by the I-864P, you should be able to sponsor your wife on your own. :)

Your previous income which was not US based will not count for anything, income must be US based (meaning a job in the US, or with a US company that will continue once you moved to the USA.)

To determine your yearly income:

Hourly wage x hours per week = Weekly wage x 52 weeks = yearly income

Alright, thanks for clarification. the lawyer decided to up my AOS so I had to resubmit all my forms to make sure that the information is correct.

Anyway, i fired his ### and I'm going to take care of it myself. feel better about the speed and the accuracy of the work when i complete it. Wasn't under the impression that the case will be delayed because of an incompetent lawyer

I understand that. I was the one doing all the forms for us and when it came to my husband doing the AOS I was nervous, LOL, even though I shouldn't have been!
