Dear VJ friends,

Our case was received by NVC on Nov.9, But up to date, we haven't received any letter confirming the receipt. Should NVC send such a letter to each applicant or it depends...? I saw a lot of people here got such a letter. Please advise. Thank you.

Yes NVC will send you a letter in the mail to let you know that they have recieved your approved petition, and in the letter you will have your new case number, which you will need to have whenever you have to call the Embassy for anything. In the letter will also tell you how long to expect for the NVC to send your approved petition to the Embassy of whichever country your fiance(e) resides. I wish you both the best on the rest of your journey.
