The judge had to add manslaughter to appease the masses. At least if he gets convicted of something it makes the state look better. If it was 2nd degree murder or nothing, he walked, plain and simple.

At this point, I believe he will be found innocent. Do I think so? No. But this is the legal system, it doesn't always work but it's the only one we got. If he walks, I for one, won't take to the streets in outrage. I'll just double down and do what I can to make sure my sons get "the Talk" once they come to live here in America.

I think he'll get manslaughter now. The judge thinks it will be a good compromise instead of the all or nothing. No way he was ever going to be convicted on 2nd degree murder chargers, but manslaughter may be a different story. There will be an uproar no matter what the verdict.
