It was his PR gig. Of course he had to say that he feels sorry that the Martin's lost their son. Any person that feels remorse over having taken a life would want to wish that it did not happen. So if given the opportunity, one would want to do something differently in order to change the outcome. George Zimmermann said he'd do it all over again. The question then is,how sorry is really that Martin is dead?

Which has nothing to do with the case. Maybe he isn't really sorry at all, who knows? Maybe he feels so just in what he did that he doesn't second guess himself. At least publicly, before his trial.

I did not say that this has anything to do with the case. All I pointed out is that according to Zimmermann, your assumption that "GZ would do anything to have that night back again and do things a bit differently" is incorrect. Zimmermann said very clearly that he would do not change a thing.

Now, true that he can't admit culpability ahead of his trial but I think there's a way to express sincere remorse in a consistent manner without admitting culpability. An answer like, I wish Martin wasn't fatally hit when the gun went off or something to that effect would have worked. Something that indicates that he wishes the teen wasn't dead. He expressed no such thing.

If and when he is found guilty of unlawfully killing Martin, he will get very emotional during the sentencing phase.

It also states that he took some type of computer voice lie detecting test and no deception was detected.

He's a good liar. That interview. He said with a straight face that he had no prior knowledge of Florida's Stand Your Ground law. And that after he aced the course where this particular law was covered as his teacher testified in the proceedings. He has three different accounts of his encounter with Martin. Several different stories on whether and how long he pursued Martin and so on. This guy is cold.

I have taken and aced many courses and not remembered the material shortly after. Not everyone remembers everything.

Mods just closed a thread and said no more threads with bickering and insulting.

You guys need to start acting like adults.

P.S.

Looks like based on this interpretation of the TOS, we are going to lose all the threads except the weed smoking thread.

The only think we can not argue about is weed.

Maybe one of the forums heavy posters can create a topic since the trial is all but over... everyone gets one post to say how they would come down if they were on the jury and one or two paragraphs for the reasoning.. no replying to others or second posts until after the verdict is out.
