Hello to all in the African Forum!

Well after a long and stressful process of my husband and I gathering all his police reports and getting all these things certified....My brother in law turned in our packet 3 for us today and we finally scheduled our K3 interview date..which am sad to say its so far away--MAY 14, 2007.

We are happy on the one end that we have got all that paperwork done and now he just has to get his medicals done sometime in may or april. My brother in law was told that the only police report he needs to obtain is where he currently resides now which by the time May 2007 comes around, he will have lived there for more than 6 months.

Since we are married we are hoping that at this point the cr-1 goes faster and since we are able to file that one in greece where my husband currently resides.

A&O and for all those who have upcoming interviews, sending out my well wishes to all of you!

On the plus side of things and after being apart from my husband since February, I am overjoyed to mention that I will be spending the holidays with him in Greece!!!

Take Care and God Bless! (L)

Hi!

I'm so glad you finally got a date, but I'm sorry to see that you have to wait until May. I was worried that might happen.

Greece for the holidays sounds like a great way to make the time go a little bit faster, though! Have a wonderful time!!! (L)

We are a ball of nerves here in Accra. Tomorrow morning is the interview! I'll post as soon as I can about it. (There are scheduled power outages these days in Ghana--twice a week for 12 hours at a time!--and tomorrow night is our neighborhood's night so it might not be until Friday that I can post.) Thanks for your good wishes.

Cheers!

A&O

Congrats, on the interview date. Sorry to hear it is so far away. Maybe they will contact you later with a much sooner date. Didn't that happen with A&O?, but she said she knew someone, and that helped move the date closer. I wish you all the luck, Also A&O fiance has an interview tomorrow, I wish you all the best of luck, you are a positive source on this site, full of information. Let us know all the details, our interview is no where in site at this point, but it still will be very nice to know what goes on. Accra, is always having lights out, I pray they get it together. But Kwabena told me the crisis is over, hummm maybe not. Good luck tomorrow, God Bless.

Wow! I'm really happy to see that you (a) will get to spend time with your baby during the holidays and (B) you FINALLY are done with packet 3 and have an interview set. I know you guys were having a tough time with the packet 3 situation. Glad thats over. An interview date in May is a bummer, but I'm sure this time spent together will help speed that up. Congrats!!
