I-130 approval most likely no issue.

VISA approval at the IV unit, will be extra scrutiny - the age gap is just one piece of the extra scrutiny.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Darnell said - for the I-130 there likely will not be a problem

But at the IV (immigrant visa) unit, in the embassy where you have your interview, there will be scrutiny - a closer look - at your age difference. Your wife and you need to provide as much evidence of a genuine relationship and bona fide marriage to the IV unit as possible. If you did not send a lot of information or evidence with the I-130 then I suggest sending more with the IV package if the I-130 is approved.

If you are young and she is beyond child bearing age, then that is a greater scrutiny. Also because you're male from Pakistan, you likely will be put into a process called administrative processing. It's where they do extra background checks and name checks to make sure you're who you say you are.
