Today I have received this message from USCIS in an Email: On July 10, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your
local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over
your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you
will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move,
please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new
address.

The message does not state where the local USCIS Office is. I recently changed my address to my new address in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Would this mean the petition was sent to the USCIS Field Office in Honolulu?.....or? Does anyone know the significance of this transfer? Hoping it is good news; but, I have no idea???????

I was transferred on june 21, still waiting after 3 weeks. But there is still a cloud looming. The 8 week delay to the nvc. so even if I received NOA2 today, it will still be another four months before she can reach POE. That's without any more delays. Praise God!

This is not entirely correct, people who's been transferred have been waiting almost 2 months & have heard nothing yet, and some are approved right away. Some are denied, and some get an RFE.

But straight forward cases typically move along quite fast once transferred to the TSC. We'll have to see how they handle this batch of transfers. :)

It's not a bad thing, so keep your chin up!

Can you please clarify if you received these responses after your case was transferred to a LOCAL office? Lots of people are posting responses regarding a transfer from Vermont service center to Texas service center, which is not the same thing as a local field office.

I received this message only 1.5 months after filing that my case was transferred to my local office, and confirmation today that it was received and review is underway.

Others are saying that an I-129F to local office means doom bc they suspect fraud or a false relationship..... That's scary.

Please help me understand!

Blessings to all!

Ok apparently after receiving my notice is the mail, mine e was also sent to TX, although that is definitely not my local office.

Seems most of you who got a quick approval from TX had been waiting since Jan - Feb, so I doubt I will get any decision soon since I am a June filer. It seems now they are quickly transferring to TX. A quick answer would be phenomenal but I won't hold my breath of course. :)
