We were NAO1 of Feb 15th, and received the I-797C, notice of transfer to Texas dated June 21st.

It's about 19 days past that and no approval or RFE so the poster who said you'd get approval in a week or so does not seem to be correct.

A few weeks more and we're in the estimated range anyway.

Depends on how straight forward your case is, whether you're from a high risk fraud country, how well your petition is put together, among other factors.

Keep in mind every case is different and what works for one may not work for another. I have been hearing that you'll get an NoA2 or RFE within 4-6 weeks of being transferred. Many have been getting NoA2's back in 3 weeks. :)

Good luck!

Your petition was likely transferred to the Texas or California Service centers because the Vermont Service center is backlogged and they don't want your petition to take longer than 5 months. This is a good thing, try to read through threads more.

You'll get 3 emails. First email states that your case is being transferred and they're notifying you. Second is when they actually send the case over, and the 3rd you'll get a week later and it'll be to notify you that the service center picking up your case has received it and will start processing it when they get to your case in the queue.

You can log in and check your "last updated" date to see when your file was last touched -- this will tell you (after the transfer is complete) when an adjudicator is poking about your file.

Today I have received this message from USCIS in an Email: On July 10, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your
local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over
your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you
will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move,
please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new
address.

The message does not state where the local USCIS Office is. I recently changed my address to my new address in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Would this mean the petition was sent to the USCIS Field Office in Honolulu?.....or? Does anyone know the significance of this transfer? Hoping it is good news; but, I have no idea???????

I filed on May 2012 under F2A category (VSC). I also received the same two emails on July 9th. I called USCIS but it was already outside business hours. The voice recording said that my case was transferred to a local USCIS office and that is in St. Albans, Vermont. I'm a little bit confused bec im from Jersey City.Shouldn't it be transferred to our local USCIS office in Newark, NJ and not in Vermont? Or it doesn't matter at all? I just hope that this will speed up the process though.

Hi folks,

If I may add a comment to your discussion: I was a Jan. filer who got transferred from VSC on 5/24. They first sent me an email notice that my case was transferred to another office

and that I should expect a notice with instructions in the mail (that's b.s. ; you only get a notice eventually). 4 days later a new notice came through that the case has been transferred

to my local office. A day after that, a third notice that it has been transferred. That was 5/30. On 6/6, I got the actual hard-copy notice in the mail that indicate the case had been transferred

to TSC. On 6/20, I received the email notice of NOA2.

Everything you all describe sounds extremely similar to what we went through, so I'd be optimistic. They needed some time to train the new people in TSC and the cases were transferred

there due to overload in Vermont. I have a feeling that things will move forward for you. So hang in there !

My best wishes to all of you !
