It's normal and does that to everybody, don't pay too much attention to those updates. Your card will be in your mailbox soon. smile.png

I got mine 3 days after the second card production email.

I hope I will be as lucky as you are.

My employer wants me to start on the 15th.

I thought I could receive it this week.

But it doesn't seem like it anymore.

:(

Agree with didopage. My wife and stepson's USCIS online status flip-flopped from "production" to "decision" a couple of times. My wife and stepson got their GCs about 7-10 days later.

Hang in there.

You may have it this Saturday... but I would not bet a million dollar on it.

I thought USPS would have to pick up the card when it's ready.

Then USCIS will give me a tracking number.

All this sounds like it will take another 5-10 days.

I just wonder what they did when they said on July 5th that they ordered a card.

You may have it this Saturday... but I would not bet a million dollar on it.

Hmmm..... I wonder about the amount of work done at a huge federal bureaucracy right in the middle of a long weekend associated with a Federal holiday??? wink.png The short answer is likely, ...not much.wink.png

Like didopage alluded to, you may be pleasantly surprised.

yer writing of the EAD card that got expedited, right?

I just say 'wait for it' and make sure you have a namecard showing your name INSIDE the postal box where you receive mail (or the postman will nix it back to USCIS)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

On July 5th, a card was ordered.

On July 10th, a card was ordered again.

What is going on?

So they didn't do anything on the 5th?! sad.png

Cin

Same thing happened to us. Guess the 5th was just informing of approval. Our GC finally went out on the 11th. After checking USPS with the tracking number provided by uscis.gov, the GC is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow on the 13th. Plan to go next week to the SSN office to order a new and updated SSN card.

When I finally was approved my status went back and forth like 3 times!! I was confused but I received my gc 7 days later after the 1st notification, so don't worry! Good luck with your new job!
