Can visa be denied because of this mistake?

Hello everyone :) My brother in law is going thru the process of getting his residence...he notice that on his marriage certificate there is a mistake...the judges name is printed roberto but signed ricardo..can his visa get denied or delayed because of this mistake? Thanks in advance

as long as it is an official document and it is signed, I doubt it will be noticed, nor an issue

i would suggest he get it corrected and have documents similar name. immigration staff are so keen on names rather than he get his visa delayed when they notice it.
