Hi everyone.



I am one of the VSC-TSC transferes. I am still waiting like almost everyone else for our case to be send to the NVC ( We are waiting for almost 20 days now and our case did not even reach the NVC yet)


Last night we got the following e mail:



Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)




Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity




On July 9, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.




For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.



Anyone an idea what this is or should we worry? I thought this might just be an e mail that our case is on its way to the NVC.

The NVC is a part of the Department of State. Sounds like your petition is on it's way.

Is it a standard message when the file is sent to the NVC?

I am wondering too if its a standart message because I never heard of them sending something like this just because they are sending it to the NVC now. I am thinking this could be because Texas does things differently then usual and they might send these messages out

It would be great in case we actually got any decision notification..All messages before what we have is NOA-1, and transferring to TSC (3 messages)

And then this.....i saw many people with some decisions (NOA-2) were getting such messages after, and yes, that is approved ones.

Anyway, will keep calling them....

If anyone has smth similar situation, please let us know!

My case number before mine didnt got any changes too. From initial review for 6months then changed to post decision activity stating it was also transferred. It could be a glitch or some sort but the thing is... It is approved and its on its way to NVC :)

I got the same message too! I'm hoping it means everything is on its way to the NVC and I'll be receiving a hard copy of our NOA2 soon. I was a little thrown off that it said Department of State and not National Visa Center.

01/29/2013 - I-129F sent
02/05/2013 - NOA1

06/21/2013 - Case transferred to TSC

07/28/2013 - Checked online status: "On 7/25/13 we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing."

08/09/2013 - Called USCIS: Petition was approved 7/8! (Have not received physical copy of NOA2)

08/09/2013 - Called NVC: Petition was received, and sent 8/5 to US consulate in Ecuador

08/23/2013 - Received letter from Guayaquil Consulate stating they are ready to begin with the final processing of the immigrant visa case (i.e. the interview)

08/26/2013 - Scheduled interview for 9/9/13.

Can you (or someone else) please explain in detail what will happen next? When we call NVC for the case # then what? I'm very confused and would appreciate some light in this matter.......... yes i know there are guides online etc. but am the type that prefers explanations, a detail-oriented person i am! :)

Hello, I received this same message this past August 13 but I have no idea of how long I have to wait?, are they going to change my status at the uscis web site? I was hoping you guys can help me. Thxs.
