I am looking for a thread that would track approvals for those filing from the USA for I-130. Is there such a thread? Or should we create one?

Not a thread, but that's what most of us use to see how approvals are coming along (NB: obviously dependent on people filling in their timelines)

you know that the local offices being involved don't give a clear tracking process for the approvals?

I understand that local office is involved during this process and the lists of all the tracking system we have under Immigration timeline and that is very awesome. What I was proposing is this:

Member ABC reports that they are approved, looking at their timelines we can see which service center processed the application (most of them would be NBC) but we don't know if they filed from overseas or from US. I know it is upto the member to state where they filed the application from but if they don't we don't know unless we ask.

there are monthly I-130 threads in the progress reports sub-forum. yer inclusion in 'which month' depends on your receipt notice date on the I-797-C

most members do not track nor are they aware or notified of the office transfer

the local offices are just too much a variable.. I am guessing that there would be a need to reprogram the data base for vj to accommodate this, which may or may not happen... since this has been going on for less than a year and will continue into the foreseeable future, I would guess that it will eventually become a tool
