Spook you and gary are correct. From the moment that travon mounted George and started to beat his head into the cement the dynamics forever changed. George could not flee. He cried for help . Knowing the police would arrive soon and in the dark.he yelled for what at least 40 seconds or more.Praying they would find him . Not because he was a wimp but because he did not want to pull that gun and kill another person. In the end he was forced to to in his own mind save his own life. If he wanted to kill he would have done it long before the beat down took place.. George was a responsible gun owner. Willing to take a beating for a long time until there was no other choice. His life or travons.

And that's why Booyah fled the country!

No. I use a .45 In my opinion he got lucky with a one-shot kill with a 9mm. Lots of bullets make it look like intent to kill, while one-and-done is perfect for self defense claims. More likely achieved with a .45 I would not have waited so long to cap him if possible. Bloody noses are not required to support deadly force. Nice touch, but unnecessary and very risky.

However, as I said before, in the presence of a known suspicious person I would have armed myself with a 12 ga shotgun before leaving the truck. TM would clearly have seen he had no chance of doing anything but dying if he attacked me and he would have been checked out and sent home to eat skittles. OR he would have run away home and not doubled back to hide in ambush. Either way, TM would be alive. But that is not required by law, so it is what it is.
