Timeline

We were interviewed on Tuesday, July 2. Passport with visa in hand on Tuesday July 9. dancin5hr.gif Considering the July 4th holiday, we got it in 4 business days...of course we selected to pick up the Passport at 2Go, Mall of Asia (which is suggested to be the fastest method).

As far as updates, I checked it constantly:

--CEAC updated to "Issued" in 2 business days, and that was it for that.

--ustraveldocs site passport tracking had "received from consular section" for a VERY brief time on the 3rd business day. All other times it said "no update available."

--2Go website never registered the case number as a valid number (maybe because we were picking up.

We did receive a text message from 2Go on the day it was ready (yesterday). We went right over and picked it up.

Shouldn't be too much longer for ya. cool.png

It differs for everyone as it is a case to case basis.

My CEAC status was changed to "Ready" a week after my interview. It stayed that way for 2 weeks. And then just today it changed to "Administrative Processing" to "Issued" in just a couple of hours. So it took about a month for mine to be printed. Im expecting that next week it will be ready for pick up at the 2Go branch in MOA.

Hello fellow VJ's followers,

Good day to you all!

I am scheduled to be interview on 1st week of August. I am located at Region 3 (Angeles City, Pampanga) and this where i choose to deliver my passport after the visa approval.

My question is based on your experience even if you are not a Manila resident, choosing MOA - 2GO pick-up point is the best choice?

Kindly enlighten me, your inputs are greatly appreciated. If am not mistaken, i still have an chance to change the delivery option.

God bless to you all and congratulation to all who received their visa approval and passport.

regards,

Dahlia

You do not have to reside in Manila to pickup your visa at MOA, but if you choose that option you need to pickup your packet from 2G0 within a set number of days or they return it to the embassy. Choosing MOA is only 1 or 2 days quicker at best.

If you are not in an extreme rush have 2GO deliver it to your home, less hassle.

You can log onto the embassy site and update your delivery options, or after the interview at the last window you can update your delivery options. After the interview its very difficult, at best, to change delivery.

Ahhh, the are still looking over the file, that could take some time... depending. And nope I don't have a clue about how long, all depends on what they are reviewing. Just going to have to be patient a little longer.
