Our congresswoman is Nancy Pelosi, I don't think we will hear anything soon as she is really busy in congress.

Oh well, here's hoping USCIS approve me randomly.

Question, is your petitioner a US citizen or PR/green card holder? My wife PD is Dec 20, 2012 so hoping we receive approval soon.

I got my I-130 approved today 8/7/2013.. PD 5/1/2012

Best of wishes to you all!

(it is normal to be depressed and sad while waiting, don't feel bad if that is your case.... I had felt sad and depressed about the wait so many times. HANG IN THERE!)

BTW, do send a letter to your representative. That helped my case!

Hi sidp69,

I can't find the post of whoever recommended this but I can tell you what I did.

You need to write a letter to your representative asking for help. Include your info, case number, and your spouse's.

Include a copy of your NOA1 I-797C and

include a filled PRIVACY ACT CONSENT FORM (this form should be somewhere at your representative's website.... it is a form that authorizes him to act on your behalf to ask for information).
