Different types of RFE

Hey guys

We got an RFE e-mail notification several days ago , but still didn't get the hard copy.

So, on the uscis site it states, that they want some Additional evidence or info from us.

But I read many times on this forum, that there is another kind of RFE, when there is "some Initial evidence or information " is needed.

My question is- if you guys received one of these RFE (especially about Additional info ) could you please tell me, what did they want from you exactly?

Because I can't understand the difference

We got an RFE and it was something that my fiance and I were kicking ourselves over because it was a dumb thing we forgot to submit. We were so busy trying to get all the evidence and other stuff needed we failed to provide the most important . .. . Letter of intent to marry!! We submitted it and ask went well. We got approved. That was our "need more info".
