I actually read the little US Constitution booklet they gave me at my naturalization ceremony, and I can't remember seeing anything in there that even vaguely implied, in any way shape or form, that regulation of pharmaceuticals was even slightly the federal government's business. The state governments seem empowered to ban anything they want. They could pass laws dealing out life sentences for metabolizing oxygen and water, if they wanted to and thought they could get away with it politically. The feds, on the other hand, don't seem to have any business caring.

At least they bothered to get a constitutional amendment authorizing the administrative infrastructure they have for income taxes. Until I see a constitutional amendment legitimizing the FDA and DEA, they seem prima facie unconstitutional to me.

DON'T PANIC

i want MJ legalized !!!

why? cause the restrictions on HEMP would be lifted as well, and i've a commercial interest in that.

----

Sure, the fines should be stiffer, the penalties more, if'n you crash a car or kill someone whilst having MJ/THC in yer bloodstream, but hey!

Kinda contradicts your moral decay stance...............Aye?

Spooky, I've stopped at a red light a few times thinking it was only a stop sign and then blasted through it with the other drivers leaning on their horns.

I haven't smoked weed in about 6 years, used to be a regular user in my teens and 20's, but like most of that stuff, it fades as you get older. I do remember the $20 bags and $1 joints, I used to sell it for a few extra bucks. I remember cleaning the seeds out of my stash by using double album covers like Frampton Comes Alive or Zeppelin Physical Grafitti and a pack of EZ-Widers or Joker papers to push the weed up the cover as the seed rolled to the bottom. Dems were the days.

Exactly, I didn't get my first credit card until I was 18. I used to spend so much money at McDonalds after getting stoned.

I had a buddy who used to get stumbling drunk and would then pee in the refrigerator. He did this about three times until his girlfriend threw him out.
