Okay so I'm a January Filer, and in the end of June my Fiance and I were transferred to Texas. We recieved our hard copy of the transfer notice in the mail about a week later. Do we start the waiting process over? Everyone is starting to get their NOA2s and if needed RFEs, yet we continue to wait. Is there a number besides the stupid customer service line to call? when we call there they just tell us the case has been tansferred and is in process. I want to speak to someone who knows something or can tell me something.

Who do we contact? Is there anything we can do, besides calling the congressman?

Thanks everyone!

Hi,

Sadly there is not a different number to call---I was transferred to Texas on Jun 21st as well with an NOA1 date of 1/31--I actually called them today and I was advised that the timeline does not start over and that Texas will abide by the same processing time as Vermont--hope this helps--dont get discouraged--they seem to really be working through them :-)

Hi,

My fiancé will have his interview in Barbados some time soon (fingers crossed). Can you recommend any nearby, inexpensive hotels/inns where he can stay??

Thanking you in advance

Awww that's awesome!!! Good Luck!!! I only stayed in a hotel one of my trips and I liked it a lot...South Gap Hotel...Orbitz.com is a good site to check out prices...also right now there is a huge event going on called Crop Over and it ends Aug 5. Because of this Carnival hotels may be more expensive...keep me posted and let me know if you have any other questions :)

Thanks for the quick response.

Girl, I know about Crop Over too well loooool.

I visited Barbados twice, but briefly--cruise and lay over.

I actually just got a list of nearby hotels. I will look into those on orbits as you advised.

I'm a March filer at VSC.

Waiting patiently

Praying constantly, as we all are.

Let's keep in touch throughout the journey

All the best!

~ Moved from K-1 Process to K-1 Progress Reports ~

They transferred cases so they could clear up the backlog at the VSC and try to start getting people's I-129F petitions processed. Your time waited will not restart now. You just need to wait until the TSC adjudicates your petition. Some of those transferred have already been getting approvals.
