Sometime in February we (My father, my sister and my self) were called in and interviewed unfortunately my grandmother (who filed for us) did not make enough money so an Affidavit of Support was filled. We handed that to the Embassy in Jamaica around April and there were still some mistakes so we handed it in again sometime in May. The embassy called and requested that we bring in our passports and updated police records we did that on June 27, 2013. We went to the embassy and handed the passports and police records and also the dhl info. The lady did not say anything to us she just took the passports and told us to leave. She did not say whether we were approved or not. so are we approved?

It sounds positive- they often need a few days to double check your passports and then print the visas before sending them back to you in the post.

I say call the DoS Hotline (# in my profile, way at the bottom)

and inquire for casefile status.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thank you. According to the CEAC visa status tracker i'm still in AP.I handed in my passports to the Embassy on June 27th 2013 but i checked the CEAC visa status tracker it says

Status Updated Date: 05-Jul-2013

what does this mean? the status updated says the 5th of July and i gave in the passports the 27th of June does this mean that i should be getting the passports back sometime this week?
