I am trying to bring my daughter to visit me for a couple weeks here in United States ( she will be 14 years old tomorrow ) so my question is : which type of visa I will apply for her. Also a friend told me that I can apply for her to get US passport even she lives in morocco is that true? Any help will be appriciated ,thank you .

For a visit of a few weeks, your daughter needs a B-2 visitor visa.

US passports are only for US citizens. The only way right now for your daughter to get a US passport is for her to derive it from you by immigrating to the US and getting LPR status. Once she has a green card, she automatically gets US citizenship under the Child Citizenship Act. So no US passport unless she is a US citizen.

You daughter may not get a visitor visa if the US Embassy thinks she will use it to immigrate with it by adjustinging her status as the child of a US citizen once she is in the US.

The easiest thing is to apply for an immigrant visa. In 6-12 months, your daughter can enter the US, get her green card, automatically get US citizenship, and she applies for a US visa. US citizenship offers her lots of options inclusion the right to enter the US whenever she wants.
