Hello, Good day everyone :) I just want to ask if someone know the requirements for the cfo sticker of pre departing. Actually I'm already done with the Cfo seminar and the certificate is already in my hand. But the CFO told me to come back once my visa is already release for my CFO sticker. And I'm also approved in my interview this morning. So I just want to make sure that I got everything before I go there at the CFO office.. Thanks :)

Once your visa is in your hands all you have to do is go to the CFO office and get the sticker. This only takes a few minutes and is very easy. The only requirements for the sticker is attending the seminar and having possession of your visa.

All the difficult work is done for now. dancin5hr.gif

Once you have your passport with visa (make two copies), take that and your certificate back to CFO and they will affix the sticker in the passport.

I see the CFO website is now asking for a 2X2 passport photo. If you didn't bring one earlier, bring one now.

Thanks :)

Ignore the 2X2 passport photo info, I was on the wrong page of CFO.... sorry.

Also you will need immigrant data sheet (CR-1) still attached to the packet, and make copies

Hmmmm, strange my wife (IR-1 Visa) was required to submit two 2x2 photos when she took her certificate to get her sticker at CFO May 27 2013 along with the requirements that Robb&Ann posted. My wife had taken the seminar in 2008 when she changed her passport to her married name.

Well maybe have a couple 2X2 passport photos handy wouldn't hurt, when I got to the correct page the passport photos weren't listed. Wonder if for you wife it was because of the time span between certificate and sticker...

I think this was the page you found first http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1347:for-filipinos-leaving-the-country-with-an-immigrant-visa&catid=139 that list the registration requirements for PDOS that includes a 2x2pic. PDOS is for immigrants/immigrant workers.. GCP is for the Fiancees/spouses. but there is nothing wrong of bringing a 2x2, so if there's extra 2x2's we will just bring it just to be sure. besides, on the emigrant registration form there is a box for pic. hehe

maybe the reason y Mar_wil's wife was required for a 2x2 is because,

maybe they need the picture for the emigrant registration form..or

maybe they already considered your wife as one of the immigrants for pdos since she had the seminar 5 years ago/married 7 years already and just got the sticker this year..

The time span may have been the reason, we do not really know. I just now asked my wife and she gave me this step by step procedure she said they asked her and others to do that day. Step 1 and 2 everyone there that day did. Step 3-7 is my wife's own individual experience that day after step 1 and 2.

1. Outside the CFO building everyone present that day was told to sign their online printed Registration form and paste one 2x2 photo onto it. (those that did not have the printed online registration form had to fill out and sign one there and paste one 2x2 photo onto it,)

2. Go to Information Area where a guard asked them to leave 1 secondary Photo ID, then they were given a number, and instructed where to line up, and other instructions etc.

3. Inside CFO hand in all photocopies of passport, visa, Immigrant Data Summary, CFO certificate, Registration Form, original passport with visa inside, CFO Certificate.

5. Asked to give the second 2x2 photo which the CFO worker stapled to the stack of photocopies handed in in step 3.

6. Got CFO Sticker put inside passport and had original CFO Certificate stapled inside passport.

7. Secondary ID returned to owner when the individual returned the number to the guard at the information area in step 2.

My wife just told me those that did not have the 2x2 photos that day were instructed to go to a building beside the CFO to a photoshop and get 2 copies of 2x2 photos. She also just now told me she was the only IR-1 visa holder that day, she said most were K-1visa holders, some were IR-2 and etc. but all were taking the seminar that day except my wife.

Thanks for the info, I will add the passport photo info to my list. I wonder what is up that they are now asking for passport photos. Before they were using the passport photo that was in their system from DFA for the sticker.

What color was your wife's passport, green or brown?

Hank, my wife's passport is the brown one, she just renewed her latest passport last year, about mid 2012.

I wanted to post my wife's personal experience as that is all she can truly attest to, just in case this should be required of others also.

Just my opinion, I think sometimes CFO just likes to use that little clause posted on their website, "Other documents as may be required by the counselors;". I remember reading a post or two where a request for some uncommon item at the CFO . I believe one post I read was about a CFO counselor requesting the filipina fiance to give them a certificate of singleness of the U.S. citizen (which we all know does not exist).
