your petition was routed from nbc to the sf office, if that is the one closest to where you live

the sf office is running at the 4-5 processing time, maybe a touch more

if you are at a different office, that time will vary

you can get more info by contacting an IO at uscis and asking if and when the file was transferred

file transfers occur around the two month mark

very few petitions are retained by nbc for processing.. like VERY few, so expect that yours has or will be transferred. if it is at the office, you can make an infopass to inquire as to what dates they are processing or if your petition has been placed into workflow

nope total time should be around 5 months including transfer

the sfo office is very busy, but they have a good ration of approvals vs receipts

So from filling the i130 to transfer in sfo office is 5 mos all in all

that is what it has been running lately

there are no guarentees

getting impatient now doesn't help you at all

why not go for an infopass if you want specific answers?

Infopass?what is it ? So lately alow there processing?

infopass is the online scheduling system for uscis so you can get an appointment time

it is on the uscis site

you will have to figure out whatever reason you want to put for the visit to get to the appropriate screen. I used case follow up.

when you go you can ask an IO all your questions directly .. everything here on vj will be an educated guess

Mine is still with NBC according to the Tier 2 person I spoke with on friday. I asked if it has been trasnferred. Will she even know the answer to that or maybe she was just telling me some thing to get me off the phone? Must I make another infopass to find out if my case has been transferred? Also should I have gotten an email? Sorry for all the questions Stevie B.

Some stay at the NBC.

But I would talk to about 5 ISO's before deciding what is really going on. Cases are normally transferred at the 2-3 month mark.

Just tell them, "I know about the local office transfers from the USCIS website so it may take a little more digging from you but could you please tell me exactly where my case is at the moment please?"

Also if you do an advanced search for ISO, or tier 2, or calling USCIS and make sure to use "Darnell" in the user name spot, he has some awesome questions he's posted about that help.

The tier said that our case is on going process and said it takes 6 mos to a year to process the cr 1. Our case is already 5 mos and 1 week since we received noa 1. My question is what does he mean on going processing and when is the prediction date to be approve. Does cr1 can be long to 1 yr?pls give me explanation if somebody have the same situation and sooner get their noa2.thank u vj family godbless us all
