Visa being delivered tomorrow!!

So maybe my theory is off, maybe it's not..it doesn't matter now...I'm happy :-)))

Anyone going through this the wait is currently 2 days for approval then another 2 days for it be handed to DX....

Thanks VJers for all your help so far!

Just wanted to second rascalflatt's situation , it seems like it will be similar for me. Interview 12th, Visa issued 16th (2 working days) and here we are the 18th and I still cannot track it on DX. Here's hoping the 2 days, 2 days theory will apply to me too and I will hear something today :) its very funny that some people are getting theirs back so quickly though. I think its very hard to not get worried at this stage because it is the very last phase, and because it seems like a black hole between the embassy letting go of it and DX deciding it is trackable.

I'm not to worried (unless my passport got lost!) but I wanted to keep this info relevant so other people can see it, as if I had not read this thread I would probably be phoning DX and DOS all day and freaking out that my shipment got lost. Luckily, because of VJ I know to be patient.

Limiting myself to checking DX only once an hour :P

Hey. I had my interview on the 16th and it went to issued on the same day. I still can't track on DX either. If it's 2 days from when status says issued, then I ought to hear something today too?

My interview was on a tuesday, was with DX on friday of the same week. They wouldn't deliver to me on the saturday, so it was delivered on the monday morning.

Slightly better than when DX were delivering my wifes Uk passport, where they didn't leave a 'you were out' card and instead wrote to us 7 days later to inform us of the missed delivery. Jokers.

CR1 / DCF (London): 2012 / 2013 (4 months from I-130 petition to visa in hand)

I-751 #1- April 2015 [Denied]

April 2015 : I-751 Joint filing package sent fedex next day 09:00am from UK ($lots - thanks).
Jan 2017: Notification that an interview has been scheduled at a local office. Bizarrely still no RFE...
Jan 2017: 2hr wait, then interview terminated before it began, due to moving my ID to another state 2 wks prior. New interview 'in a few months...maybe.'   Informed them that divorce proceedings are underway, but not finalised at this time.
March 2017: An Interview was scheduled - marked as no-show as they didn't actually send out a notification of interview. FML
April  2017: Filed an official complaint with the ombudsman, and have requested Senator & Congressman assistance
August 2017: Interview - switched to a (finalised) divorce waiver. Told that decision will be made that afternoon, but no problems foreseen with my case.
October 2017: Letter of Denial received - reason given as 'I-751 petition was not properly filed'. Discovered ex-spouse made false allegations to USCIS in 2015. No opportunity given to review & refute allegations  - contrary to USCIS policy.

I-751 #2 - Oct 2017 - Mar 2021[Denied]

October 2017: Within 72hrs of receiving denial notice, a new waiver I-751, divorce decree & $680 cheque, sent to Vermont via FedEx overnight 9am priority.
Dec 2019: Filed FOIA request for full A# file
Feb 2020: FOIA request completed - entire A# file received as a .PDF; 197 pages fully redacted, and 80 partially redacted. Don't waste your time!
March 2021: I-751 #2 denied for lack of evidence. No RFE, no interview, and evidence in previous I-751 not reviewed - contrary to policy. Huge errors in adjudication.

N-400 - Feb 2018 - Apr 2021 [Denied]

February 2018: N-400 filed online.  $725 paid to the USCIS paperwork wastage fund

February  2019: Interview - cancelled after a four hour wait due to 'missing paperwork' on their end. Promised Expedited reschedule.

March 2021: Interview letter received, strangely dated after I-751 denial. No I-751 interview conducted. N-400 interview and test passed, given 'cannot make a decision at this time' paper due to the ongoing I-751 nightmare...

April 2021: N-400 denial received citing recent I-751 denial as basis for ineligibility, even though it should have been a combo interview 🤯

I AM JACK'S COMPLETE LACK OF SURPRISE

Service Motion - March 2021 [Sent via FedEx & COMPLETELY IGNORED by USCIS]

March 2021: Service Motion request sent overnight addressed direectly to field office director, requesting urgent review and re-opening, based on errors in adjudication - citing USCIS policy, AFM and memorandums as basis for errors. This was completely ignored by USCIS.

 I-751 #3 - June 2021 - Jan 2024 [Denied]

IT'S GROUNDHOG DAY

June 2021: I-751 #3 (30+lbs/5000 pages of paperwork) & another $680 sent to USCIS via FedEx ($300+..thanks) ....

June 2021: Receipt issued, card charged, biometrics waived, infopass scheduled for I-551 stamp number ten.....

Feb 2022: RFIE (no, not an RFE, a Request For Initial Evidence) received, for copies of the divorce paperwork that they already have 😑

July 2022: Infopass for I-551 stamp number eleven.....

August 2023: Infopass for I-551 stamp number twelve....

January 2024: Denial received, ignoring the overwhelming majority of the filing, abundance of evidence, and refutation of a provably false allegation. The denial also contradicts itself in multiple places, as if it was written by someone with an IQ <50.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

2024: FML. Seriously. I'm done.

I had a dreadful experience like that too. I lost my UK passport last year, had a new one sent on a week's processing time (because I was due to travel very shortly after) and the DX courier from the IPS kept "delivering" my passport to my flat and "leaving a missed delivery card" (which was apparently invisible, much like their courier, because they didn't), when in fact I was in and they had never been. I ended up on the phone with them about 3 times, until eventually they put it out on a "VIP" service. It was super stressful.

I'd be more than happy to get my passport back from the US embassy on Monday.

Hey there!

I feel you! I really do! All I can say is it WILL be delivered in the next couple of days but I know how frustrating it can be. They seem to be sitting on the passports for approximately 2 working days from when the visa is issued before it goes live on DX for shipping the next day. What can I say....I empathise completely!

It will happen, just keep refreshing that DX tracking page!! I think I must've refreshed it literally a hundred times some days!!

Good luck!

Well, its past 4pm and I still can't track it, so if the intel on time of DX collection is right, I'm not going to hear anything today :(

I didn't think I cared and I'm not in a rush but boy, my visa was issued more than 48 hours ago and DX are on site. I wish they would just scan them all, just so I could track it. I wouldn't worry then if it took 3 days to deliver, but not knowing if my tracking number/postcode work is so stressful!

Oh well, guess this whole 9 months didn't teach me as much patience as I thought. Thank god tomorrow is my last day of work, because I think I have been less than effective for the last few weeks freaking out about visa stuff all day every day...

Thanks for the kind words rascalflatt :) it gives me faith! I see you heard back 7 days after the interview, so that would be tomorrow for me, fingers crossed your timeline will bring mine luck! :) That way I can wait home to get delivery on Monday morning!!

OOh mine too!!! Looks like we are on the exact same schedule hehe :) Thanks so much for letting me know. I am at my last day of work and I was going to force myself to wait for 4pm to track it, beause it was so depressing to see it say it didn't exist!

Can't wait for Monday morning now...

Yep! Can't wait for Monday to come now so it'll be in-hand and I can just stop worrying about it. Due to fly the following week, so even if they screw up, at least now I know I have time to chase them.
