Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

If you're not against me, you're with me. If you're not with me, you're against me. Same thing.

So you don't wish to disclose if you disagree with either of these statements?

first one says a neutral person is for us (us would include Jesus)

second says a neutral person is against me ( me being Jesus)

first one says a neutral person is for us (us would include Jesus)

second say a neutral person is against me ( me being Jesus)

it is contradictory

These sentences are contradictory. You're right.

But look at the entire quote in your link. In the first one it would depend on what encompasses "us". The guy was driving demons out in Christs name so he has to be for Christ, but he's not one of "us" Maybe that's just the disciples in this context. Clearly that guy was for Jesus.

The second one, they're against Christ, and he uses "me" That one's clear.

IMO, both statements say the same thing.

And you just showed that they mean the same thing.

Just to be clear are you saying that these statements say the same thing?

first one says a neutral person is for us (us would include Jesus)

second says a neutral person is against me ( me being Jesus)

or that the Jesus quotes are saying the same thing?
or all 4 statements say the same thing?

He that is not against us if for us.

Whoever is not with me is against me.

I'm saying these statements say or mean the same thing, depending upon how hair spitting you want to be.

Well let's make it black and white.

substitute the word black for " against me"

substitute the word white for " with me" and "for us"

It then says He that is not is black is white.

and Whoever is not white is black

are you good with that?
