Evolution is science not belief. There are those that like to muddy the water pretending that evolution is on the same level with creationism or its offspring - intelligent design. It is not. Both the latter are belief, the former is science. Big difference. We should resist the anti-science crowd's attempts to drag this country back into the caves.

Some science for most is a belief. I have to believe what quantum theorists explain to me as I lack the intelligence to follow the math behind their conclusions. They can make models for me all day about how gravity works and it makes sense to me but unless I understand the math behind their conclusions, I'm in effect, choosing to trust or believe them.

In what other argument in the world is the burden of proof on the person who doesn't believe in something that can't be proven? Hey man, I believe in unicorns but i've never seen one and have no proof of them but its up to you to prove to me that they don't exist. How does that make an sense. The burden of proof is on the believer.

Let me clear things up for you since you're the ridiculous person who thinks I want innocent people sitting in jail.

I don't think TM was a "saint" like some people seem to think. I think he was a kid who was very likely going down the wrong path. But I don't believe he was doing anything to warrant the attention of GZ.

I don't think GZ was looking for a black person to kill. I don't think he was looking for a confrontation. But I also don't believe a reasonable person would get out of their car and follow someone they believe is suspicious on foot.

I think GZ should have stayed in his car. I think TM should have kept walking. They both didn't do what they should have done, and one person ended up dead because of it.

I think, like I've thought all along, this case at least needed a trial.
