It seems like uscis is sporadic in approving noa. This past week theres approvals from December, March, January. It really depends on the local office and the persons desk its sitting on unfortunately. Im an April 1 NOA1 and Im sure this doesnt mean I will get a noa2 in 2 weeks. If it arrives in September I will be satisfied. If it actually arrives in July I would be happy. Good luck to all

I got received my receipt number in April 2013, and haven't heard any news so far.... So when my NOA1 will be started??/

The NOA1 contains the receipt number. It's the first piece of postal mail the USCitizen receives back from USCIS.

Are you stating your USCitizen husband DOES NOT have the 'notice of receipt', formletter I-797 or I-797C ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I will be satisfied with late Aug or Sept also... I still have a waiver to file, so that is another journey.

I am happy to finally see some approvals on our thread though...

oh thank you for your clearing smile.png yes we got the receipt number , is it I-797 as well? cuz in the email they said " should check the status online after receiving i797..." sorry i just have checked it again, mine is I-797C, what is different from I-797??
