If you are k1 FIANCE or K2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiance visa, submit a vaccination supplement

What am i supposed to do with this? I've called a few doctors listed on the USCIS page asking them and they seem to have no idea. Any help would be much appreciated!

If you are AoSing just submit a copy of the vaccination record given by the DR who perfomed the examination. I just submitted, nothing else I was approved without problems. Never contacted a civil surgeon once I got here (US)

Aww I didn't read that you've a second RFE. You probably to take the copy of the vaccination record and have it transcript here by a civil surgeon. Maybe you need to fill a portion of the I693 (please somebody correct me if I'm wrong)

Interesting, yes 2nd RFE. First was for Birth certficate translation. We completed in September. Now in June we just received another stating

If you are k1 FIANCE or K2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiance visa, submit a vaccination supplement. We added a copy of his vaccination record from abroad which wasn't what even originally requested. Now low and behold - Whammy! An RFE.

The irony is we have called a few civil surgeons and they have zero idea what I'm asking for when I ask they only want to provide a full medical test to the full tune of $300 plus. Another other comments welcome and thank you in advance for your response.

PS ~Congrats on your babY!!

The DS-3025 you received from the K-1 medical would be the vaccination proof that was needed, IF it was completed properly and you had all the required vaccinations.

What exactly does your RFE say? That information is important for anyone trying to help give you the most accurate advice about what you need to send to respond to the RFE.

Thank you! Unfortunately looks like we don't have a DS 3025-- we have DS 3026 and 3024. The Dr. Abroad said he didn't need it. On the letter exact words are " If you are k1 FIANCE or K2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiance visa, submit a vaccination supplement"

Now, we have called many civil surgeons today and they all act like I talk chinese when I ask them soley for the vacinnation record/supplement on I-693. They want us to redo a full medical. Any other folks having the same issues?

You need to tell them since you are adjusting from a K-1, a new medical is not required as stated in the I-693 and I-485 instructions. Let them know you only need any missing required vaccinations and for them to fill out page 1 and the vaccinations page of the I-693, again, as the instructions state. Try looking in this thread for a civil surgeon that will not rip you off > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/231026-civil-surgeons-who-dont-rip-you-off/

The thread is huge, but you may still be able to sort through it to find someone in your area.

Actually you may need new medicals because your old ones are expired. I am not sure how long they are good for when it comes to AOS but I know they do expire

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Well, it is supposed to be if your medical was done within a year of filing for AOS, so they should not require a new medical if the processing time for the approval went past a year. However, to remove all doubts, since this is a 2nd RFE, you may want to just go ahead and get the new medical and any missing vaccinations and send back the completed I-693.

Thank you both for your responses. Thank you for the link as well, I'm going to follow up with the NYC doctor. Our meds are not yet expired and I'm pretty taken aback by the fact that these "doctors" are so money hungry. If he did medical abroad makes no sense for him to pay out again because of such a mis managed process. I'll report where I landed. Please cross your fingers for us
