does the green card package that they sent you require a signature to receive? or they just leave it in your mailbox?

Mine was left in a mailbox. No signature needed.

We received a RFE the week of Dec 13. I'm not sure when exactly it arrived because we hadn't checked the mail in quite some time. It was sent from the CSC and postmarked Dec 02. I hadn’t planned to send it off until after Christmas due to things being so busy. I went to mail it out this past Monday, but the post office was still a mess so I decided to try again later. I'll mail it out this Monday. I'm not surprised we got the RFE and not really upset about it. I'm just glad to know that they were working on it and it'll be over soon.

Received my Green Card. Another part of the Journey over. See you all in 8 months during Aug 2014. I will be checking and answering any questions unlike others who just left this thread once they were done.

Sometime a response even if it is RFE is better than no response. All the best with your process.

Praise the Lord - we are very excited and happy to cross this step. We just got the good news email stating that wife's 10 year GC is ordered today.

The online case status has also been updated thus - "On January 8, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

We wish all the other August applicants a quick approval. May God be with you all.
