All we did was print out a few bank statements (if you had bank accounts for a period of few years together) from various months during the year that show both of our names on the account. We just used a yellow highlighter and highlighted the names on all bank statements.

We did not go through the trouble of getting a letter from the bank stating that we both are on the account.

Hello fellow journeys just got the confirmation e mail that my card was ordered today, I'm so glad and relief I'm just happy this wait is over, thanks a lot to all of you for your support and help without this website I could not have done it by myself, thanks a lot I'll include details once I get the actual letter lol one thing I never never got the NOA they said it was not send but I was still able to renew license and blah! I'll tell you more later right now I'm just so happy, I wish you all nothing but the best of luck friends I hope you get your soon ;-) Gracias a todos... Adios

Just got a text/email case updated

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On December 21, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

It took 4 months for us, just be patient guy's an I wish and pray for all of you guys to get approved by Christmas or New Year's Day !!! Thanks for the supports and we'll see you next year for the citizenship

I just got a notice that my wife's alien registration number was changed. This is the first activity I've seen since our case got transferred to our local office. Here's hoping our approval is coming up soon!

Wow! Less than an hour later...we are APPROVED! I just got the card production message. I guess the "alien registration number updated" message meant that someone was reviewing our case.

This is definitely a big early Christmas present for us. Hopefully my wife's green card will be here in time for our trip to Mexico on Friday.

Good luck to all of you still waiting. I hadn't heard anything since October, then suddenly boomapproved. It really can happen at any minute. And on a Saturday too.

Hope all of you have a very safe and happy holiday. See you next year for citizenship!
