I-751 August 2013 Filers

Since my case has been transferred to USCIS, will this delay my case further? Are there any cases in the past that have gone though local USCIS offices and getting conditioned removed in a timely manner? I submitted a ton of evidences and I heard that normally if the case is transferred to local uscis office, interview may happen and there could be a lengthy delay. I may be wrong.

Removal of Conditions:

08/30/13- Early walk in successful.

08/24/13- Received Biometric appointment letter and scheduled for 9/12/13

08/19/13- Received NOA1 with the prioirty date of 08/13/13

08/15/13- Check has been cashed out

08/13/13- I 751 delivered to VSC

08/12/13- I 751 mailed out.

12/07/11 - Received SSN

11/29/11 - Received Green Card

11/10/11 - POE - Chicago, IL

Chennai Consulate:

10/24/11 - Interview Cleared

NVC:

08/31/11 - Case Completed

07/17/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS:

6/16/11 - I-130 approved.

3/14/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

All you have to do is call the USCIS information number, and select the menu options that lead you to the status of your case, and the recording will tell you exactly where your case was sent. No need to fret--just call !!

Thank you magical! I did call USCIS and came to know that my case has been transferred to ST. ALBANS, VERMONT which is really strange because that is where I sent my I 751 package and delivered to it. I am just wondering even though the email says, my case transferred to local USCIS office, in the end it turns to be the same VSC.

We called the 1-800-375-5283 and our case is transferred from Vermont to Vermont : )

It might have been a glitch in the USCIS's systems

There is actually a field office as well as the central processing center in St. Albans, so sounds like you were transferred to the field office there...hopefully that is accurate and hopefully they process quickly. If you look them up, it seems they only have a tiny backlog, and it looks like they process just a couple a month...seems strange, but that's what the stats say.

Thank you for the info Magical. I can not make out their processing time from the chart but in any case there is not much anyone can do even if we were not to agree with the transfer

What is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list

Navyk,I got my receipt today from CSC and my receipt date is 08/28/2013,but the receipt does not mention anything about the biometrics appointment. I was wondering if this is normal? Do the receipts usually come with the biometrics appointment letters? Thank you!

We did not get transferred to CSC . Our case is still in Vermont but it was moved to the Vermont field office.Please put us back with the Vermont filers or create a new entry for ST. Alban field office since there is other people who were transferred there as well : )
