Wow must be something going on with August 26th received dates as that day was mine also! My card also expires 9/23 and I am getting very concerned here.

Once they receive the application, you are fine. Keep the proof of delivery safely. May be all of you (VSC applicants) are getting transferred to CSC. Did any of you called USCIS and inquired!

Since CSC is faster, you guys may get your approvals before us. How about that to give you all something to cheer about.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Good for you. Let's first see how many of us get moved from one service to another. CSC is approving a few of June applicants whereas VSC is yet to. Basing on that our CSC applicants may start seeing

Our case was transferred to CSC on September 12. We received the transfer notice in the mail on September 16. California Service Center (15 applicants [8 transfer from VSC] ) VJName.........

I love the optimism, however, I did call and again was met with someone totally useless but did advise 30 day wait of receipt notice...only problem is I will be out of status at that point ;(

If they are taking a little longer mane its because your case was transfer so give it a few more days and as long as they cash your check you are fine, mine tool two weeks but its because my case was transfer to Vermont so hopefully yours was too and you'll receive your notice soon with your biometrics appointment ;-)

They have NOT cashed the check though......

Once your application has been received by them (keep the proof), you have kept your obligation and you will be fine. Yes, it looks like you will be out of status on 9/20 but it is not the fact. Hopefully you will get your NOA1 by then or at least get your check cashed. If still not done by 17th, intensify your call with USCIS to get to speak to higher level or email Ombudsman.... Have to do something.

Hopefully they'll arrive soon - obv. my drivers license expires at the same time so would like it asap as the DMV around here moves even slower than USCIS!

You can trust such information - relax now and it will come in mail in 3 -4 days.

That's good news! I got tired of calling them, they kept telling me to wait for 30 days. The good things is, my visa expiration date is on Oct. 23, 2013.

I just checked bank account again... Cheque was deposited this morning, with a CSC code - maybe ours were re-routed! Breath of relief!

On my bank statement online it said: "WITHDRAWAL CSC FIELD OFFICE
TYPE: PAYMENT ID: ************ DATA: ACH TRANSACTION CO: CSC FIELD OFFICE" - so I just presume CSC would be California Service Centre.

Keep us posted on when you get your receipt - I'm anxious to see if moving house has complicated getting mine to me!
