Joint Renters Insurance is fine, I guess you are sending copies of the actual lease agreements. Also make sure to include at least one full account statement per quarter.

Oh good idea! We'll send the lease agreement along with the affidavit from our landlords (my name was never added to the lease when I moved here - it was about to become month-to-month and we didn't want to renew for a full year in case we found a nice house to buy... which hasn't happened yet! rofl.gif ).

And yes, we will be sending at least 1 full statement per quarter for everything where applicable.

Thanks, Navyk! star_smile.gif

We don't live in an apartment, so there is no lease. We live in the home that I purchased before I met him. I'm sending copies of the personal tax that we're each required to pay for living in the home. The tax notice is billed to us individually, not as a couple. So since he gets a bill and I get one, that would also be proof of living at the same address. And I'm sending a copy of the cashed check to show that both my taxes and his were paid with the same check from our joint account. I think we're in good shape as far as bank statements are concerned.

Thanks for reviewing my evidence and offering suggestions!
