Wow way to go Aidore that was way fast, did you sent it on the 26 or did they received it on the 26th? Either way that's great wink.png I sent mine on the 21 and they got it the 23rd so by next week I should get something, I'm happy for you...

Actually I send it on the 27th they did received on 28th , dancin5hr.gif because I bought overnight service, my NOA date on receipt is 28th. But I just receive it today.. goofy.gif

Hi Guys .Some good news . My wife had a successful walk-in for her Biometrics at the Service Center in Jackonsville , Florida on 08/30/13 . Her appointment was scheduled for 09/13/13 . No questions were asked .

All,

My wife had a successful early walk-in for her Biometrics in Alexandria, Virgina and no questions were asked. Infact the crowd is moderate and she was in and out of the service center in about 25 minutes. I wish all of you will have a successful early walk in as well should you decided to try. Appreciate if you could update my timelines as well

08/30/13- Early walk in successful.
08/24/13- Received Biometric appointment letter and scheduled for 9/12/13

Yes, long weekends delay bit but in the long run it really doesn't matter. A well evidenced applications gets faster approval then the others.

They cashed my check 4 days after they received my application so don't worry it should be ready in a couple of days give till Thursday or Friday, I'm expecting my NOA today or later this week since its gonna be 2 weeks since they got it and I've seen a couple of lucky ones who got their response 2 days later, so don't worry you should be ok, good luck to you and to us all ;)

Is there any one that received Biometrics letter that is having issues with online status check? We completed Biometrics on 8/30 but still our EAC number indicates that the case could not be found at this time. I also tried the EAC number from the NOA but no luck.

Called USCIS, who asked us to call after 45 days of receipt at their end.

It is dated August 21st but was only mailed out a week later on the 29th. We were really worried because so many people got theirs sooner, but hey...it's within two weeks which is still pretty good (for Vermont! haha)

Just out of curiosity - Vermont filers, what's the return address on your NOA envelope and what address is at the bottom of your NOA? Mine says Laguna Niguel, CA. Does that mean that my case has been transferred?

If you do early biometric walk in -- does it faster your application?

and how long usually it takes for approval after biometrics ?

Till the biometrics are done, USCIS doesn't have anything to start working on the background check. So I think and early biometrics helps but in the end it is the well evidenced application that matters - as it gets approved faster.

Got NOA1 as well, dated 8/28.

Updated Gandl and Kzielu and VSC applicant number.
