Boca Chicka Babe - Were you successful in your walk in appointment ? Where is your Service Center ? We have an emergency and have to travel soon .Thanks for sharing your feedback .

Yes, we were successful. I gave the letter to the woman at the desk. She looked over it and mentioned our appointment wasn't until the 10th. She didn't seem bothered by it, but did tell us that we could have changed our appointment. She said that we'd have to wait until they finished with anyone who may have had an appointment for the time that we showed up. We showed up at around 8:30 AM and we were the only ones there. While my husband was getting his finger prints done, another couple walked in. We were in there a total of maybe 15 minutes. We live in Pennsylvania.

We would really like to do an early walk-in for the biometrics, but it clearly says that the Orlando service center is appointment only. Does anyone know if this may be possible?

Hi guys. I had a couple quick questions while I get together my wife's package. I have her listed as the beneficiary on my life insurance and my 401k, but there are no formal documents that say that. I can view the information from the account websites, so is it ok just to take a screenshot of the webpages that have her listed as my beneficiary and use that? Also, since there is a ton of documents that I am submitting, is it ok to highlight pertinent information on all the papers such as names, dates, etc? Would adding sticky notes saying what each document is be helpful or just get in the way? Thanks for all the help!

Yes, you can take a screen shot of the Insurance & 401K details and send those - I did that.

Yes, I highlighted the pertinent parts on the paper with light color highlighter. I didn't use sticky notes but you may.

Yes, we were successful. I gave the letter to the woman at the desk. She looked over it and mentioned our appointment wasn't until the 10th. She didn't seem bothered by it, but did tell us that we could have changed our appointment. She said that we'd have to wait until they finished with anyone who may have had an appointment for the time that we showed up. We showed up at around 8:30 AM and we were the only ones there. While my husband was getting his finger prints done, another couple walked in. We were in there a total of maybe 15 minutes. We live in Pennsylvania.

My service center is Alexandria, VA. What about yours? I might try to attempt to early walk in on 8/30. I am afraid that I might be turn down because it is the long weekend and not sure if I will be successful.

Almost all June VSC applications are being transferred either to CSC or to a Local USCIS Office. Let's see what happens to July VSC applications.

For us we just have 2 CSC applications against 21 VSC application - of course there would others not in this forum that all submits their applications. But it still looks like more VSC applications in August. We may also see our cases transferred - just heads up guys.

It is Charlotte Service Center and they do not entertain walk-ins. Will have to go for Biometrics on Friday, as scheduled.
