Up to now im still waiting for the I-129f approval.. i admit i envy those who got their I-129 approved early.. i believed we have completed the requirements and the last status said that they received the RFE and wait 60 days for the decision on this case.. I wonder now is it ok for my husband to call MSC to follow up the papers? All answers will be appreciated..

Thanks,

Boo Wilson

If it says on your notice that you can follow up in 60 days, I don't see how it could harm your case if you call.

At this point there's probably a good chance, or a chance anyway, that the I130 will beat the K3 to the embassy or arrive there aroudn the same time and override it anyway :)

I called yesterday for the same reason and they told me to call back on the 11th of December if nothing has happened with my K-3 by then.

They are going to do some kind of inquiry if nothing has changed by 12-11.

thank you riblet....yeah husband would like to phone them sometime next week more than 60 days to make sure that they will give positive feedbacks..One thing more im afraid that the packet for I-130 and I-129f will arrive in the same time next year but we really like to pursue I-129f coz it is much quicker and faster especially in getting the sched for medical and interview..

Forgot to mention that the 11th of december is our 6 month mark for the K-3. So it seems that they will not check anything until after six months.... at least in our case. So, even tho we are past the sixty day processing time? They wont do anything until after six months has past and this relates to the processing times http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...&page=times

Oh well, good luck to you.
