Helps tremendously, thanks! Really appreciate your assistance - you really are incredibly helpful, everyone should know about this forum.

As I am bored at work I have just completed the DS-230 as well lol and stuck it away for safe keeping until it's needed, so nothing else to do now but wait. Am usually pretty patient, but I can see this being an exception.

My I-130 tracked package has arrived at the embassy this morning! Must setup one of those timeline signatures like you have - handy for keeping track...

I've written a guide. It's not done yet, cuz I'm not finished with the process yet. ;). I could share it with you so far if you want to be a guinea pig? I need to share with Nich-Nick too, since she'll spot my mistakes.

I'm also bored at work. I'm working my notice, so it's hard to get too involved with stuff knowing I'm leaving shortly.

That would be great to see your guide - really helps to know what's coming up!

I've just managed to swing voluntary redundancy at work (most unfortunate timing ;-) so my heart isn't exactly in it at the moment!

Damn! lost_at_sea is on top of it!!

I am writing here just to let you know that, indeed, DCF via US Embassy in London is quick! - 3 and a half months for us from I-130 sent to Interview, and now just waiting for my passport to arrive back from the Embassy with the big fat visa stamped on it :)

All the best!!

We got the email this morning to say our I-130 has been received and filed on July 11! Quick work!

In timeline terms is that NOA1?

Blimey. That was much faster than our NOA1. Good stuff, London! You can add that date into your timeline as a useful data point for others.

Now you get to count and keep an eye on the I-130 page on the London website to see what they're processing (they update the website with currently processing date about once a week, sometimes it take them 2 weeks to update it).

Ha, thanks for that.

Although it did prompt me to check my card and there is a pending transaction of £283 or something, which can only be the fee! So yes, I have indeed filled it in correctly wink.png

Very strange to think that this time last week I posted on here because I was struggling to figure out the process and filter out the conflicting information given on the USCIS websites - now, exactly one week later I have submitted, received NOA1 and fully understand exactly what will happen throughout the entire process.

All thanks to finding this site on a Google search, and the incredibly friendly and helpful members here! Thanks guys...

Yay. Glad you're finding it useful.

Good luck tomorrow! Although I'm sure you won't need it... I was reading the reports by forum members on the interview itself (am certain you have already done so!) and was surprised by how straightforward it all sounds...

Just think, in about 36 hours you will be at the end of the road! Exciting.

I know, I know. Interview itself doesn't scare me - more worried we're missing something or screwed up a form or something.

Seriously doubt you will have screwed up a form in any meaningful way, or missed anything essential as you are so well prepared - that's just your subconscious messing with you, and a little paranoia is only natural I'm sure!

Will all be over tomorrow (jealous)

Quick question - I've filled out the next form (the DS-230 or whatever it is called) and I just need to do the 'dates you have entered and exited the US supplemental sheet.

I have two problems with this - 1) I can't find my expired passport anywhere and my current one only goes back to 2006 and 2) how would I know the exit dates from memory?

I must have made at least 10 trips to the US in the last 15 or so years and can't remember how long each trip was. Some were work trips so I wouldn't have booked them, but for the ones I did myself I've checked my Expedia and Travelocity accounts and neither store information back that far!

Any ideas/suggestions? Is 2006 onward enough? I spent a lot of time travelling backwards and forwards to America from 2003 to 2005 as that was when we were in a (really) long distance relationship for much of the time prior to the start of 2006 when my then fiance came to England for five months on a tourist visa before we got married - I just don't have any detail!

You need to do them all as best you can recall. I had a similarly long list (I've made about 20 trips in the last 10 years). Check your email archive for boarding passes and itineraries for memory joggers.

If they only wanted to know everything for a certain distance back, they'd say so... :(
