Medical/visa question?

So, my husband has to wait until august sometime for the results of his medical. He may or may not have to stay for treatment. MY question is Do i have to stay here in his country for the results of his medical? my husband is paranoid if i leave they will give us another interview. (we've been approved just waiting for the medical so we can give it to the embassy a long with his passport) DO i have to stay here to go with him to give the embassy his medical and passport? Do i have to be with him at POE?

I'm leaving on the 23rd of this month.

No, you do not have to stay or be with him for POE. Now all you can do is sit and wait. Not necessarily in the DR. :)

No, you do not have to stay with him. Unless you want to. You being in his country has nothing to do with his status. You only needed to prove to the CO that you two were a legit couple and that he deserves a visa so that you two can live together in the States.

DO i have to stay here to go with him to give the embassy his medical and passport?

No, you are not even allowed to enter the Medical facility. Only those acquiring visa are allowed in. He can go to the Medical facility and the Consulate himself. They will deliver it to him once it's ready or he can pick it up.

Do i have to be with him at POE?

No. Many new visa holders arrive here alone and go through Customs with little to no issues. You can wait for him at the airport.

I'm leaving on the 23rd of this month.
