Hello Everyone,

I have filed I-130 petition for my wife on February 2012 and our PD is Feb 20, 2012. I know some of the folks here whose PD is on Dec 2011 or even earlier than Dec 2011 are still waiting for their NOA2 while the folks whose PD is on June/July 2012 have already got their NOA2.

Congratulations to all of those who have got their NOA2 and I am so happy for those who have got their NOA2 because I am also on the same boat waiting for my wife to join me here. I can definitely understand the bitterness of long waiting and feeling of being separated from legally married lovely spouse.

So my question here is, why CSC is not processing I-130 petitions in the order ( in the order of date in which it was filed)? Seems like, it is pulling petition randomly from a big pool and processing it, why it is doing like that? I cannot call USCIS Customer Service because as of June 18 2013, CSC is processing I-130 petition for Spouse of LPR up to the date of Nov 15, 2011 only. I know if I call USCIS Customer Service they will say, your case is still under processing time.

I am feeling so helpless for my wife that its been 18 months of being married and she is still away from her home. My wife is holding her patience, she understands and she does not complain. But every time I see her eyes on Skype, I can understand her question but I don't have any answer for her, I feel so miserable. I am dying little by little everyday and I can't do anything except checking our status online and hold my patience saying tomorrow is another day.

Any thoughts or comments regarding this will be highly appreciated.

Thank you

To be honest...it is a total crapshoot and nobody knows what they are doing or why they are doing it the way they are doing it. All we can do is to pray and hope that they pick up their approvals of 2011 applications and continue with the 2012 applications.

Cheers.

Random approvals have been going on since last year. CSC will never disclose how they approve i-130 petitions. You will only get a standard answer like "you're within the normal processing time" or some ####### like that.

After not hearing anything from USCIS for over a year, we decided to seek the help of my husband's (petitioner) congressman and shortly thereafter we got our NOA2/approval. yes.gif

You might want to try it too.

Thanks for your response, I tried congressional Inquiry two weeks ago, but CSC didn't event respond their inquiry. I dont know what's going on... I feel so helpless in this case, I can't do anything... :(

Thanks for your response Bokar83. Hopefully they will get back into track and people will start getting their approval on time. Wish you all the best on your F2A journey.
