So it says to file for AP (advance parole) for travel outside of the US with the AOS packet. We want to go to a country in Europe or back to his native Jamaica, after our ceremony in Sept. I will be sending in the AOS paperwork within the next week. However as of right now I do not know what dates we will be traveling and to which place exactly. In the paperwork it asks departure date. Should I leave that blank?

Please post your questions in either the AOS forum or the working and travelling forum. As this is for AP, the latter would be the one to use. You are no longer filing for a K1 so the questions do not belong in that forum.

To answer your question, no. Do not leave it blank. Write "unknown".

Curious question; ceremony in September, is that the wedding ceremony? Only ask as you said you are filing AOS now.

You can put "unknown" or "not yet planned", that's fine when filing for advance parole on the basis of an adjustment of status application.

Spouse-based AOS from out-of-status H-1B, May - Aug 2012

Removal of conditions, Aug - Nov 2014
