i barely meet the income requirement with my income and child support combined, so my lawyer advised me to get a co-sponsor. i had a very difficult time finding someone that would co-sponsor us, but i found someone that agreed they would. BUT....she did not want to send in a letter from her employer....her reason being is in her job she makes high dollar amount financial decisions for her employer and a few years ago she almost lost this job when her employer found out that she had filed for bankruptcy...and that's why she don't want to include a letter from her employer...she does not want her employer knowing she is doing this cause it might look like a bad financial decision and she does not want anyone from uscis contacting her employer....we have provided everything else for a co-sponsor including her tax returns, w-2's, ( for past 2 years) and recent pay stubs

.......i'm so nervous we are going to get denied because of this one missing document........haven't we provided enough? how much do they really need to prove she has sufficient income to co-sponsor.....i totally understand her reason why she doesn't want to provide this

please no replies with "find another co-sponsor" ........i can't find anyone else that will, she is my only option

has anyone been in this similar situation? is there anything else we can provide without directly contacting or informing her employer?

i'm just praying they don't say anything about it.....i'm so scared

also i have included proof of the home i own valued at 70,000...that i own out right no mortgage....can that be counted towards the annual income for me to meet so i don't need a co-sponsor? i read someone where that you can count $10,000 of your assets on a home towards your annual income????

A employer letter is not required as long as she provided her tax transcripts from the IRS(not copy of returns) and recent pay stubs

You can use your home but you will have to buy an appraisal and other things.

You donr need an employment lettee

She needs to call irs.gov and get 3 years of tax transcripts. Do mot send full taxes.
