travel to the us with usc as tourists

Hello everyone:

I plan on visiting the US with my spouse who is a permanent resident here in Canada. We have not filed any I-139 or anything else and don't plan on doing so for another 2 years. Can we go through the border together without problems or is there a chance I would be denied entry for being an immediate relative of a USC? He has a job here and so do I. We only plan on visiting. Any input would be appreciated :-)

I think you mean I-130 not I-139. You might want to ask to have this topic moved to the Canada sub-forum

Just bring with you proof of ties to Canada. Lease agreement/mortgage, letter from work with date expected back, etc.

They may not question you visiting, but if they do it’s good to have paperwork that shows you have every intention of returning to Canada.
