I am so sorry to bother you again, guys,

But we just discovered that we made a mistake on our I-751.

Here is the story,

I was married before, and I have two kids from my first marriage, BUT they dont live with me but with their father back in other country. I am married to my USC spouse here, and we live here, in the USA.

Anyway, recently, in August, when we filed our I-751 to remove condition from my conditional green card, in the section where you have to list all your children (even if they dont live with you), we made a mistake. My oldest son was born July 15, 1999, BUT in the I-751 form by mistake we put July 14, 1999 (got wrong by ONE day).

And I just realized that (I already feel ashamed that I forgot my child's birthday date)

So my question is WHAT should we do now? What could happen? Is there going to be a problem? Should I file something?

Please, please, HELP, ADVISE, we're so worried about this...

I wouldn't worry at all. There is nowt you can do except wait to see if you get an RFE for some other reason, and then let them know. I doubt they will even spot it. Don't fret! :)

Met the ole man in January 1998

Jan. 2004: K1 visa issued ~ April 2004: Got on a plane ~ Nov. 2004: GC in my mucky hands ~ Dec. 2006: Received 10 YR GC

What I'd do is this:

-if you attached the birth certificates, and they can spot the mistake this way, call them and ask them what should you do. Maybe it can be changed over the phone or you just have to send again only the application

-if you didn't attach the birth certificates, I don't think they'll even see it. They're not going to check the medical files from another country to see if you have the date right or wrong.

All the best,

A.

All i have to say is not to worry, I put the wrong date of birth of my wife by one day too and I was approved, well typos happen so no worries. And plus your kids are not the ones benefiting form the marriage, they just care your marriage is legit and thats it :) . So no worries ..

Regards
