Good day, everyone. This is my first post and I am new to VJ. I wanted to know how to prove an ongoing relationship when my fiance' and I chat on imessage, talk via FaceTime , Rebtel and Viber? In the beginning we emailed each other but after we found all these free apps, we decided to use those. We have met so we have pictures but I just need help on how to prove an ongoing relationship after we got engaged vis FaceTime. Thank you for all your help in advance.goofy.gif

When it comes to Proof Of Ongoing Relationship, Yes, both viber and skype are very important. Print out both and specify the kind of document it is. Good luck.

We use Rebtel and FaceTime too!! On facetime, go to "Recents" button, it lists all the call history. Take a screenshots of them. On rebtel, you can either take a screenshots of the call history on your phone or go to rebtel web site to print history which doesn't list all the calls though. For iMessage, I would probably just pick a random screenshots with the dates on it.

Best of luck and wishes to you and your fiance!

For FaceTime, go to Recents and take the screen shot . When both of you are using FaceTime, take the screen shot that has her face and you.

By the way, you can start sending a letter by post office too. I know people do not send letter anymore in these day. However, Letter is good evidence to prove because of USPS stamp rather than screen shot.

even though my fiancé and I skype/viber/whatsapp every day, we used none of these things in our application. We simply showed (and it is what is required) that we had met, in person, several times over the previous 2 years. We had passport visa stamps, boarding cards, and photos from each place. We wrote our affidavit of love :) and submitted the application. She just did her interview for her visa at the embassy, it took only 10 minutes. They asked a bit about how we met and some procedural questions and it was done. She didn't have to provide any additional evidence to the consular.

Include dates with screen shots if you can. For instance, when I scroll up in Skype it says "Show messages from Yesterday" Saturday, July 6, 2013. It also gives options for 7 days, 30 days, 3 months and 6 months. It also says 1 year and from the beginning, but don't count on recovering any messages older than 6 months. I just took screen shots with the dates, so I had a sample of the ongoing relationship. I didn't print whole conversations, only the 1st page.

We do most our talking on viber, skype but I will also call on cell. Most carriers have an international plan and I only pay 13 cents minute. We just received our NOA2 on the 5th. In my package I send cell bill, and cards we send each other. Then I wrote a simple letter that says that we use viber, skype so we don't have much proof except phone bill and letters. We sent a lot pictures from two trips I took to Singapore where she works with side trips. I think if its real it will look it and they understand that ppl communicate online and text these days. I sent no proof of our daily Skype or viber calls.
