Hi Everyone,

With a huge burden in my heart, I write to ask for your opinion on this. I had my interview in Lagos June 14th and it was approved right there. I was really happy when the lady told me it approved cos I was nervous and almost flopped. She gave me a slip and said I can go to the pickup center to get my visa in two weeks time. Well, this is three weeks, yet no visa. The message I keep getting from them is that the visa is not yet ready.

Please, what is going on? Please I need some advice. The wait is not easy to bear. Thank you!

yes check to see if the status says issued. Normally it should say that a few days before the pick up date they gave you.

Package Sent ----> 3/13/17

Package Received ---> Friday, March 17, 2017 @ 3:50 am

CC Charged ---->  3/20/2017
NOA ----> 3/23/17                                                                                
Finger Prints ---> 4/14/2017 --> Early FP 4/12/17!!
Inline for an Interview notice received ---> 4/14/17
Interview Scheduled ---> Waiting for letter in the mail to see the actual date.  8/30/17
letter in the mail arrived ---> 9/5/17
Interview Date ---> 10/05/17
Oath ---> 10/12/2017

Send an email right now to embassy so they get soon as they open in morning. Hopefully you didn't get put in AP. And that can happen even after an approval.

But ask them. You know Nigeria nothing comes easy o.

Hello guys, thank you so much for responding. Well I just checked the status of my case and it says issued. Is that positive? Its a K1 visa. I have sent them countless msgs before, shuld I wait for them to contact me like they said they would once my visa is ready? Or what can I do? Thanks.

issued is a great status !

Now you need to track down what's what with the visa packet getting out the door at the IV Unit and into the courier's hands.

Good for you but our case is beyond 1month now but still no visa. We are having a heavy heart for all the embassy had done to us. It's now 1 year and 3months since the petition was filed.

Hi. I already have the interview and already approved but until now there's still no visa. The ceac says READY today. So good for you that it's already issued. Get your visa then.
