Hi im quite confused.. I just contacted USCIS about the processing time in VSC the guy whom i talked to said USCIS VSC is currently processing June 2012 cases. I had read here in Visa journey cases from VSC with PD Aug, Sept and even Nov cases are being approved so it seems they are giving wrong processing times. So right now how long is the REAL processing time in VSC? Im glad to see movements from VSC PD is 8/12/2013. Congrats to everyone who received their NOA2. smile.png

And if you look more closely, from the top of the table, it says "Field Office Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: June 30, 2013". That might mean that the latest case that they have processed on June 20, 2013 was for June 4, 2012.

when you call USCIS, the call center agent would only be looking at the current processing timelines from their website, which would show as June 4, 2012 for their August 20 post.

And if you look more closely, from the top of the table, it says "Field Office Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: June 30, 2013". That might mean that the latest case that they have processed on June 20, 2013 was for June 4, 2012.

Thanks for the information. I did not noticed that. So for Aug 2013 filer do you have an idea whats the usual waiting time? Whats your PD?

My wife's PD is September 13, 2012. Just got approved today :)

Oh my, congrats!! One year of waiting must be really challenging. My petition is for my 3 y/o daughter who was left in the PH. Il file another i130 for my partner if il have the chance to go home and marry him. It will be a long way for me. For now Im happy to see cases being approved.. Cheers for your family!!!

yayyyyyyy!!!!, just got my wife's case approval today. so I guess they have really started looking into our papers

her case was transferred to NSC on August 9 from VSC and we got the approval email today. will just wait for the snail mail and the NVC case number. crossing my fingers

My wife's PD is Sept. 13, 2012. Hope the VB will not retrogress too much.

Good news everyone! October bulletin is out, F2A cut off date is 8th September 2013. http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_6062.html

NIIIIIIIIIICE !!!! good luck for every body and hope that USCIS send you NOA 2 as soon as possible

yeap seems like Nebraska working. My friend got approved today too from Nebraska PD Oct 12, 2012.

Does anybody know if Vermont itself working as well? two is better than one.

September 12, 2013 - Transfer to Nebraska

September 20, 2013 - Case touched

November 14, 2013 - NOA 2

Case shipped to DOS - November 19, 2013

NVC Stage

December 11, 2013 - NVC received my case

December 30, 2013 - NVC case number issued

January 2, 2013 - NVC issued invoice number

January 13, 2013 - DS261 filled out

January 15, 2013 - AOS invoice received and paid

January 17, 2013 - AOS package sent

January 21, 2014 - Fed ex delivered package (NVC confirmed receipt on 22nd)

January 21, 2014 - IV fee invoice received and paid

January 22, 2014 - IV documents sent (payment in process but cleared from bank)

January 23, 2014 - submitted DS260 form, iv documents delivered per fedex (24th per NVC)

February 12, 2014 - received fake checklist for IV package

February 21, 2014 - Case completed (by phone)

April 2, 2014 - Called and got interview date May 13, 2014

May 13, 2014 - Counsel needed some time to to review docs

May 27, 2014 - Interview round two and visa approved

June 2, 2014 - Visa pick up date

Just an advice for everybody : when you got approved from USCIS please keep calling NVC untill you get your case number . they say 30 days 40 days whatever they say please call as soon as you have your number you can complete NVC in 60 days if you dont get a checklist !!!!!
