hi vj members.... how long usually they review the iv packet... i sent my iv packet june 14 and they receive it june 17... its been 15 business day now.... yet still waiting for my case complete....

hopefully next week i hear a good news from nvc....

Ours was sent June 12 and we received an email from NVC on July 4. I thought it was a good news but its a Checklist because we sent the old I-864..they asked to send us the new one..

NOA 1 ---- 09/21/2011

I-130 Approved ------ 04/30/2013

NVC Case Number -- 05/14/2013

Medical Exam ------ 05/28/2013

Case Complete ------- 08/06/2013

Interview -------- 09/09/2013

Visa Arrived ---------- 10/17/2013

POE SFO ------------- 10/21/2013

Delays maybe inevitable, but misery is optional!

me i sent my aos package june 3 they receive it june 5... accepted by june 21... i sent the old i864 too... no checklist... now im waiting on my iv packet to be reviewed and get a case complete... hopefully next week we got our case complete and have our love one get their interview hopefully by august....

keep me posted on ur case too victor...

That's not fair!

Our AOS was received in NVC on June 2 and when hubby called last July 4, the guy said that he just sent the mail which contains the checklist that we have to resubmit using the new form with the instructions how to fill it in..

Anyway, that is their decision, i can not argue with..

We sent both iv and aos packets..When hubby called, they never mentioned about our iv docs so i assumed that its good

Give them until 20 days or maybe you would wanto to call nvc and check your case

i always call nvc but they always say is wait 20 business day... if u didnt hear anything then call back...

how's ur case vic2or?

Haven't got a word from our guy who did all our paperworks..I hope that he will send the new AOS form this week..

hey vic2tor i just called nvc ryt now... i got my case complete,,, thank god... hopefully u will get ur case complete soon,,,

waiting for interview hopefull aug we will have our interview,,,,

today morning we got another RFE of that same 864 form, but it says to bring those during the interview and when the date for intrvw is set they will notify us.

its so wierd.. y did they not mention it during the first RFE and said our case is complete yesterday?when today they had anothr RFE from tht same form.huh.png

vj terminology to know

NOA = notice of action :P

ISO = immigration service officer

NBC = (same as MSC)national benefits center

RFE = request for evidence

Everything seems weird now a days with NVC. I am not sure what they are up to but certainly creating lots of confusion in everyone's mind. I hope they get everything running smooth again. AOS fiasco led all mess and they had no idea how to handle it in professional manner.

You are lucky that they are letting you take 864 to interview and you do not have to wait additional 3 to 4 weeks like others. Here some had new CC after 3 weeks of receiving first CC.

I hope we get interview date soon

06/04/2013 - AOS & IV bill e-mail received, generated and paid.
06/05/2013 - AOS & IV status paid.
06/05/2013 - AOS package sent
06/12/2013 - IV package sent
06/25/2013 - AOS Accepted
07/03/2013 - IV accepted
07/03/2013 - Case Complete
07/30/2013 - Interview Date received

09/30/2013 - Interview

09/30/2013 - Approved

10/02/2013 - Visa in hand
