My status has been as follow for over a week now:

  • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number.

Listed above are the possible steps an application or petition may go through during processing. Not every application or petition will spend time in each of these steps. Once you enter your receipt number you will see the steps that will always be required for that particular application or petition. The step in the process where your case is currently located will be highlighted. Other steps will appear if your case requires that particular step.

I have this status for over a week now. I am a January filer in Vermont and my case was transferred to Texas on May 29th. Upon calling the number provided, I was asked to call after fifteen days. The sent only thing that the rep did over the phone was sent an inquiry to see what was going on with my case. Anyone with similar message, please share your experience.

My case did not show up on the USCIS website for 2 months and for others it has taken longer. You service center is NOT California. MSC is the National Benefits Center. After 2 months it is most likely the the NBC will forward the petition to the local office of the USC to be adjudicated. If the USC does not have a US address they may adjudicate it themselves. The normal wait time for a petition is 6 months.

As above, i'm 6 months in and mine hasn't shown up online, mines at the Washington DC (Fairfax VA) local office where the wait time for I 130 adjudication is 6 to 12 months.

Many cases do not show up online. Others show up all the time, and yet others show up some times and not other times. There is a known problem with the online status system. USCIS knows about this problem and it is well documented here on this forum. To check your case status you will just need to call the USCIS office. The tier 1 rep will not be able to check your status either, thus they will transfer you to a tier 2 rep who can check your status and also tell you what office it is currently at.

Only the US petitioner can call the USCIS. The OP is not the USC.

Correct. So her husband can do the calling then.

My husband called uscis already and they said its processing its been 4 mow already

So what's your point? 4 months is very well within the time frame it takes. There is nothing abnormal here. Just keep calling weekly if you want a status update about it. That is all you can do at this point. After about 6 mo you could do a service request to get more information but certainly not this soon.
