This is for an old petition. I filed for change of address but wanted to make sure it was current. Who do I call to confirm it? As I said it was a previous petition and what would I need to supply them with to pull up the information?

03/09/2013: Married

09/10/2013: Sent I-130

09/12/2013: Case Received.

03/04/2014: Petition transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

03/25/2014: I-130 Petition approved

03/28/2014: Petition sent to NVC

04/09/2014: NVC received case

05/08/2014: NVC assigned case number

05/16/2014: Paid AOS fee

10/02/2014: Case Closed

10/10/2014: Interview Date Scheduled

11/17/2014: Interview - APPROVED!!

I don't understand what you mean.

If you file a petition and need to include something about a previous petition you just add a copy of the NOA2 from that old petition.

I have no clue what you mean about change of address in regards to an old petition.

Please clarify.

NVC Received : some dinkelsberry yehoo in the house of clingons send our petition to the wrong consulate.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

Email &text : May 18, 2015, check cashed May 19,2015, return receipt May 21, 2015 stamped USCIS Lockbox, NOA1 (3x) May 22,2015

Biometrics : June 1, 2015 letter received for appointment June 8, 2015, successful walk-in June 1, 2015

RFE : June 12, 2015 for income not meeting guideline. Income does ( ! ) exceed guideline.

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

Emails : Aug 24, 2015, EAD approved, EAD card ordered.

I-797 EAD/AP approval notice received : Aug 27, 2015

EAD/AP combo card mailed : Aug 27, 2015, EAD/AP combo card received: Aug 31, 2015

EAD/AP (renewal) approval Aug 22, 2016, NOA2 received Aug 25, 2016

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

If you are still a LPR, you must notify the USCIS of all address changes until you either leave the country by giving up your GC or become a USC. You can go here and complete the on-line change of address form. There is a confirmation page that comes up, I would print that as proof that you did in fact change your address. The USCIS may or may not have the correct address even after filing the form, but at least with the confirmation number you can show you complied with the law. I would not bother calling them, just complete the on-line form.

You would call USCIS with receipt# and verify address.

You are overdoing it with the old petition and end up confusing them. Your new address in regards to the old petition's affidavit of support

of your ex does not matter. They will see your new address in the new petition. No need to send the old affidavit of support from your ex to

prove anything !!!

Way too much ...overload ! Stop. The worst delay can be caused by confusing the USCIS with an old and a new petition.

Make a clear separation of both in your letter and in your evidences.

Keep it direct, short but simple with :

Timeline,dates, the reason why you divorced your ex and why you are believing it will be a good marriage with your current husband.

A few co mingling evidences to proof it was a bona fide marriage (with the ex), can be added but not neccessary.

OP is the USC. Filed before, married, marriage disolved. Working on new petition with current (different) husband and wants to

address possible red flag of previous petion/divorce to not make it appear like she is a serial petitioner and wants to prove bona fide for past and present marriage.

This is for the high fraud Lagos consulate.
