I think and the talking heads agree. Putting them on the stand important because it showed they were not a family of idiots and it kind of eroded some of the Dee Dee damage.

Yes, since they don't have TM to speak to, the family is a second option. I don't think they want the image of Dee Dee to be the only queue to his mindset.

Reworded: Yes, since they don't have TM to speak to, and not a single witness who was actually present on or at the scene either before or after the shot to support their charges of murder, the family members who were nowhere near the area are a second third option.

Somehow I don't think they will be getting this ME to diagnose the extent of GZ's injuries from the photos. He's a stickler to the facts. Looks like this might be another bad day for the prosecution.

That's not what this ME is in court for. This is the ME that conducted the autopsy and that is what he is testifying about today.

The fact that Zimmermann's injuries were insignificant has sufficiently been established last week.

The ME is now lecturing the defense attorney on what it means to be under oath. It's quite hilarious.

Haha...he's telling the attorney that "you're asking me to answer a question that I can't answer because I wasn't there."

He's combative...lol

Great ME, he needs his own show.

In China the penalty must be high for lying under oath. :)

I realized that when he took the stand while I was watching it dimwit. I was making fun of last weeks "photographical medical diagnosis" and contrasting it with the fact-stickler who is on the stand today

GZ already confessed to murder.

How is it a bad day? He's just stating the facts. The person is dead from a gunshot wound at close range. I think everyone knows that.

The ME is a dimwit based on you seeing him take the stand? I'm not sure why that would be?

Because the factual evidence and witness statements (witness: person who was actually there to describe what happened directly before and after the event) made during this trial have not even made a chip in the original statement that the victim was shot while attacking the shooter, which is neither murder nor manslaughter. Unless the prosecution PROVES with real physical evidence that this is not the case this defendant is going to walk.
