His entire complex has 3 street names. One street is his own and it circles the complex and then the other two streets that intersect the complex. All the numbers are on the fronts of the homes. He could have guessed and the cops could have found him.

He's the leader of the neighborhood watch and doesn't know the 3 street names in his neighborhood? Oh please...He wanted to hunt a suspect and prevent him from getting away. His words, not mine.

Every choice in his life screams "wannabe cop". It's not rocket science or pure speculation. Classes, employment application, friends and relatives in law enforcement.

At the complex a better deterrent to crime would be video surveillance rather than armed untrained citizens attempting to apprehend suspects who've yet to commit a crime. Remember, he knew there was a camera at the gate, but didn't think that it worked. As the NW leader, shouldn't that be the first line of defense? Not when he thinks he's the only line of defense.

For those who don't see the holes in this story, I don't think you're looking very hard.

The defense has not made a case yet.

There is no way the judge would NOT move this case forward absent a dismissal of charges by the state and you know that is not going to happen. The state TRIED to dismiss the charges based on the evidence when the shooting occurred and could not because of noisey racists.

This is a puppet show to try to appease YOU. It won't work, you will still be upset that justice is served, just as you were upset when justice was served by GZ. For you it is not going to make any difference, but those of us who knew all along he did what needed to be done will be able to say "you had your trial, you lost, get over it!"

Another thought (of mine), however malformed...

Ever so often, I catch up on old episodes of 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' .. Recently, I saw three episodes where the crew were using SEMI-AUTO Paintball rifles. Man, that put some fellas right on their @sses, with 3 or more shots in the core.

I'm betting Ol George could have done something similar - and come on - trespassers could easily be found - they be the fellas with the paint on their clothes.

re: George's pursuit of a law-enforcement career - sorry, when ya fail a class or two and get out of sequence in a lock-step program, it's best to chose another career. It's very strange (to me) why he was in Florida to study law enforcement, when he could have lived at home with his parents and attended other 'law enforcement school' in Virginia.
